1. Cracks appear when the laser welding machine is welding

1) The shielding gas flow is too large, which can be solved by reducing the shielding gas flow.

2) If the cooling speed of the workpiece is too fast, the cooling water temperature on the fixture should be adjusted to increase the water temperature.

3) The workpiece has not been cleaned. In this case, the workpiece needs to be cleaned again.

4) If the fit gap between the workpieces is too large or there are burrs, the machining accuracy of the workpieces should be improved.

2.the penetration depth of laser welding machine welding is not enough

1) Insufficient laser energy can be solved by increasing pulse width and current.

2) The defocusing amount of the focusing mirror is wrong, and the defocusing amount should be adjusted to a near-focus position (but no splashes can be generated).

 

3. The flame weakens when the laser welding machine is welding

1) Main optical path laser offset processing method: adjust the main optical path full-reflective and semi-reflective diaphragms, check and adjust the dots with photographic paper

2) The treatment method for damaged or polluted focusing lens: replace or clean the focusing lens and protective lens.

3) The laser does not output from the middle of the copper gas nozzle under the focusing head: adjust the 45-degree reflective diaphragm to make the laser output from the middle of the gas nozzle

4) Treatment method for damage or contamination of the diaphragm of the laser resonator: replace or clean the reflective diaphragm of the resonator.

5) The treatment method for the shutter not popping up completely: check and add lubricating oil to the connector of the shutter to make the connector mechanically stable

6) The service life of the xenon lamp has reached the treatment method: check and clean the old lamp or replace it with a new one.

7) Treatment of cooling water pollution or cooling water that has not been replaced for a long time: replace cooling water, clean and filter ultraviolet glass tubes and xenon lamps

8) How to deal with the excessive defocus of the focusing mirror: adjust the defocus to be close to the focus (but no splashes)

9) Treatment method when the protective gas is opened too large: adjust the air flow of the protective gas.


4.The weld seam is very black when the laser welding machine is welding

There are two reasons why the weld seam is very dark when welding with a handheld laser welder

One is that the nitrogen is not turned on, as long as the nitrogen is turned on, it can be solved; the second is that the flow direction of the protective gas may be wrong. 

We should make the gas flow direction of the shielding gas opposite to the movement direction of the workpiece.

Fault 1: start (power), (cool), switch not powered

Solution: The water pressure switch does not work, pull down the water supply pipe to exhaust, and then insert the water supply pipe

Fault 2: The lamp does not light up

Solution: Check whether the pre-combustion board is 220V; whether the 3A fuse is good or not, and whether the xenon lamp is good or not

Fault 3: The light is on, but the (automatic) state does not light up

Solution: Check whether the No. 3 A fuse on the large printed board is good; whether the connector is loose and whether the working voltage is >200V

Fault 4: The rotation (voltage adjustment) rotation, the voltmeter has no indication

Solution: The intelligent thyristor rectifier module is damaged, the voltage regulating board is faulty, the feedback button is off, and the connecting wire is loose.

Fault 5: During the working process, there is no laser suddenly

Solution: Check whether the 33A safety tube of the pre-combustion plate is good, check whether there is a power failure; check whether the laser cavity is leaking.

Fault 6: Laser intensity weakens during work

Solution: Check whether there is water seepage on the end face of the laser rod. If so, stop the machine, re-tighten the sealing O-ring, and clean the end face of the maintenance rod; if the focusing lens is polluted, clean it.

Fault 7: During the working process, the buzzer will sound, and the power will be cut off soon. Cooling water temperature exceeds the set temperature upper limit

Solution: Check whether the external circulating water valve is open and whether the waterway is smooth.
